The very popular Hobonichi Cousin makes a great daily journal or planner and it needs a good cover.

No stitching on the spine means thread will not wear through over time. Full-size font and back flaps means a perfect writing surface under each page. Leather construction means it will evolve with you through use and become more beautiful as it forms to the notebook and ages to perfection. Each cover is hand cut, hand assembled, hand sewn and hand finished with care.

The red piece is Horween Chromexcel, the black pieces are bridle leather from Hermann Oak.

CARE

I would recommend treating this leather product with a good leather oil or balm. It makes it look great and it prevents cracking and deterioration. I now offer my own One Star Leather Balm and it happens to be the best product I've ever used on my leathers:
